Epworth Geelong located in Waurn Ponds has exciting opportunities to join our dynamic Perioperative Team as a Theatre Technician. Opportunities are available for fulltime and casual positions for motivated experienced or novice Theatre Technicians.

You will make an impact by:
- Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparation
- Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
- Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
- Having an inclusive mindset to thrive in a multicultural environment
To be successful in this role
You want to join a dynamic team who are committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience with a focus on safetyfirst. You are a good communicator with a natural ability to show compassion and empathy to patients. Professional in your work you have a strong attention to detail and are quick to learn and adapt.
You will have:
- A Certificate III in health services assistance operating theatre tech equivalent or willingness to complete
- Be flexible with good communication skills and a willingness to learn
- An understanding of medical terminology and be able to fulfil the technical requirements of the role
- Have best practice in delivering patient centred care
- Have welldeveloped understanding of relevant safe work practices

The annual salary range for Theatre Technicians AUD $57744 $69799 super entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for parttime).
