Job Description

The Facilities and Grounds Assistant will help the school and community by performing duties assigned by the Director of Facilities and mowing and landscaping maintenanceSnow removalTrash removal from outside containersAssist with facility repairs and maintenanceFulfill work order request Move furnitureCarpet cleaning and disinfecting when neededDeliver packages to appropriate classroomGeneral housekeeping duties; paper towel and toilet paper stocking monitor hand soap dispensers vacuum unclog toilets sweep mop tile oorsAssist Athletic Director in prepping for fall winter and spring sporting eventsPrepare setup and tear down for school eventsPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:Frequently lift equipment and materials weighing 50 pounds or climb ladders twist turn and reach in completing a variety of job outside in hot or cold conditions for extended periods of in a wide variety of environments as found in all areas of the :At least 1 year of facilities and grounds experience in a school setting (preferred)High school diploma or equivalentMust be able to pass a BCI & FBI background checkBenefits.
