As one of the largest Medicare and Individual and Family plan carriers in the United States Aetna supports over 6 million members on its core Administrative (Billing Enrollment and Claims) platforms. As a part of the team that develops procures and supports the technology underpinning one of the largest Medicare and Individual and Family plans footprint you will be leading the creation and evergreening of the technology strategy supporting the business strategy for these lines of business. In this role you will need to understand what it will take to win in the market today and tomorrow from a business lens and be able to clearly articulate how technology enables us to compete and win. You will need to have a broad base of technology knowledge along with business strategy skills healthcare knowledge is a plus. A passion for helping to lead the transformation of healthcare through the use of technology is a must.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Leads the technology strategy supporting the business strategy for Medicare and Individual and Family plans overseeing the development and of technology strategies roadmaps and initiatives.
Develops and drives the overall technology strategy in alignment with the organizations vision mission and longterm goals.

Leads programs to conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify new growth opportunities assess competitive landscapes and evaluate market trends and dynamics.
Communicates with senior leadership and key stakeholders to define strategic objectives and priorities ensuring alignment across different departments and functions.
Leads the strategic planning process facilitating discussions setting goals and objectives and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success.

Evaluates and approves potential strategic partnerships acquisitions or investments that align with the organizations strategic direction.
Drives the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and projects ensuring effective project management resource allocation and timely .
Fosters a culture of innovation and strategic thinking within the organization encouraging the generation of new ideas and driving continuous improvement in business processes and practices.
Communicates the business strategy and progress to the executive team board of directors and other stakeholders providing regular updates presentations and reports to ensure transparency and alignment.

Required Qualifications
15 years of experience with the following

Experience in leading product strategy and business outcomes or leading engineering teams delivering critical business capabilities or technology strategy definition
Strong technical acumen coupled with strategic vision
Clear and compelling in written and spoken communication including explaining complex technical concepts to senior non technical AND technical executives
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage simultaneously competing priorities

Education
Bachelors degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification. MBA Preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$175100.00 $334750.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the companys equity award program.
