Job Description

Location: This opportunity covers the entire state of CA ideal candidate would reside in Los Angeles or Orange County will consider candidates in San Francisco or San Diego areas.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Director is responsible for building the Renasight and Prospera business for Natera. Key to the success of this role will be to effectively grow Nateras Organ Health portfolio of products. This leader will ensure that Nateras portfolio of business capitalizes on the market opportunity in driving rapid volume and revenue growth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and grow the market for Renasight and Prospera including: market development; reimbursement; advocacy; branding; KOL development; new product development and launch planning; sales training and sales .
  • Provide leadership in the development production promotion and sale of additional organ health products and services overseeing the development of a portfolio of products for organ health diagnostics.
  • Partner with physicians to understand their needs and those of patients to develop future technologies that can drive market growth and can address gaps in the portfolio.
  • Lead the current team with a sense of urgency and passion for the business growth opportunity for Renasight and Prospera.
  • Manage strategic and daytoday operational aspects of the business with an emphasis on revenue growth profitability and bottomline results.
  • Lead business development and strategic partnership initiatives in addition to managing existing strategic partnerships.
  • Create evaluate challenge and adjust marketing and sales plans and associated resources to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Collaborate efficiently and effectively with internal partners to quickly grow volume and revenue for Renasight and Prospera
  • Deliver key product training for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Direct a crossfunctional team to execute on business priorities including clinical strategy and regulatory pathways.
  • Own the P&L statement and take responsibility for developing profitable long and shortterm financial plans and budgets to support growth objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree required; advanced degree preferred (MS PhD in Life Sciences; MBA; MD).
  • 8 or more years in the biotechnology pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industries plus specific expertise selling diagnostics products to nephrologists.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive results and influence leaders across functions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team with a proven track record of success managing 610 direct reports.
  • Track record of managing large teams and ensuring robust cross functional/regional strategic plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a matrixed team and coordinate and direct panregional teams.
  • Experience developing and using market research to gain insights into markets to build forecasts.
  • Demonstrated ability to conceive develop and implement multidimensional commercial strategy marketing and business plans.
  • Proven excellence in project management and in effectively driving multiple projects and priorities to deliver results.
  • Capability to engage deeply in science.

The total On Target Earnings (OTE) offers a competitive base salary and uncapped quarterly commissions. In addition we also offer a car allowance and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

The compensation package listed is for 1st year OTE which are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to skill set years & depth of experience certifications and specific office location. Ontarget earnings (OTE) represent the total potential income an employee can earn by achieving 100 of their performance goals. It combines a base salary with commissions and serves as an estimated figure rather than a guaranteed amount providing a guideline based on average performance outcomes.
