Encourages and enhances the progression and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Services Department. Treats patients from newborn pediatrics adolescents young middle and older adults. When requested assists daytoday operations of the Cardiopulmonary Department referring outofthe ordinary issues to the Manager and/or Medical Director as appropriate. Provides diagnostic testing to the patient to help optimize the total care given. Performs arterial punctures for blood gas analysis; knowledge in the operation maintenance troubleshooting and quality control of ABG analyzers. Abilities to use mechanical ventilators bilevel ventilation equipment peak flow meters ability to perform respiratory assessment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE TRAINING
- Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner License in CA.
- Current BCLS certification.
- PALS certification within 3 months of hire.
- ACLS certification recommended
- Current NRP certification for NICU RCP
- English fluency (written and verbally).
- Experience: Knowledge of the general/specific tasks necessary to the practice of Respiratory Care; requires demonstrated competency in the ability and knowledge to effectively care for the newborn to geriatric patient.

Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation and the current compensation range for this role is $40.00 to $40.00. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire in which a wide range of factors will be considered including but not limited to skillset years of applicable experience education credentials and licensure.
