Job Description:
Portlede is seeking an experienced Maintenance Associate to join our Facilities team. Responsibilities will include assisting with all maintenancerelated projects on campus including mail delivery set up and breakdown of events general repair and maintenance and painting. This position must also be available during inclement weather for snow removal and other emergencies as necessary. This is a fulltime 12month staff position working a schedule of 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and reporting to the Director of Facilities.
Responsibilities:
Work in all areas of facilities repair and maintenance as assigned
Snow/ice preparedness and removal may be outside of general working hours
Ensures that all safety concerns are communicated with urgency and that steps are taken to protect the community from the concern
Assist in the pick up and delivery of on off campus mail as assigned
Assist department as needed with set up and breakdown of events and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs
CDL license preferred
Minimum 3 year experience with facilities maintenance
Ideal candidate will have experience with construction HVAC plumbing painting electrical
