Located at our Landing Gear Services facility in Medley FL the Program Management Director leads a team of inventory analysts planners and program managers to optimize inventory levels product mix and operational efficiency across all inventory programs. This role plays a key part in strategic planning team development vendor management and customer engagement to support business growth and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee all inventory program operations ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Manage customer relationships by coordinating program needs with onsite managers and support teams.
Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business with existing and new customers.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to enhance inventory performance and availability.
Monitor service level agreements to ensure high levels of customer support and satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs to ensure consistent and reliable supply.
Identify and evaluate inventory acquisition opportunities to enhance consignment performance and profitability.
Monitor market and industry trends to anticipate risks and identify growth opportunities.
Provide handson coaching and onthejob training for program management team members.
Design and implement training programs to ensure effective planning and inventory management methodologies are consistently applied.
Qualifications:
Masters degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 810 years of experience in the aviation or materials management industry.
Proven track record in supply chain management and inventory strategy development.
Strong experience in vendor negotiations and customer relationship management.
At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Ability to interpret market trends and convert insights into actionable business strategies
