Job Description

SOCOTEC is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions including operations employee relations performance management benefits administration and onboarding/offboarding. This role will assist senior HR team members in driving operational excellence while optimizing HRIS platforms and digital tools to enhance the employee experience through efficient innovative processes.


Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in a peoplefocused role such as HR employee engagement or recruiting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders across several offices & teams.
  • Independent task oriented and eager to take initiative.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with HR software or databases preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute all onboarding and offboarding activities including coordinating with crossfunctional departments to ensure seamless employee transitions.
  • Maintain HRIS data in ADP Workforce Now and other employee information systems. 
  • Process benefits administration changes file funding audits and all related reporting. 
  • Assist with the of various human resources programs related to compensation and engagement.
  • Ensure general inquiries coming into HR inbox are responded to in a timely manner. Be the point of contact for employee questions and requests and escalate to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Maintain execute and distribute reports outlining peoplerelated KPI statistics and dashboards.
  • Maintain the organizations HR activity calendar including the tasks related to compensation performance management and annual compliance programs.
  • Monitor the performance evaluation cycle and ensure they are done in a timely manner.
  • Document and maintain human resources related policy and procedures.
  • Maintain worksite compliance with federal state and local employment postings and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Assist with required tracking and employee correspondence of including those related to general LOA ADA benefits workers compensation matters including liaising with the insurance carrier employee providers and with return to work details.
  • Maintain employee files based on federal state and retention records requirement standards.
  • Support engagement and culture initiatives through various platforms and communications.
  • Assist other locations with HR matters as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned by your manager.

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • A passion for fostering employee engagement and improving the employee experience.
  • Interest in the A/E/C industry


Additional Information :

Job Type: FullTime

Salary: $70000$80000
