Machine Maintenance Technician
THE ROLE:
Entegris is currently seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position will be based in our Decatur TX facility.
This person provides basic and advanced maintenance services to support the production goals of the company. With the need to control machine downtime we need to add a Machining Maintenance Technician that will be able to handle hands on repair and coordinate with vendors to achieve maximum machine dependability.
HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE MONDAYFRIDAY DAY SHIFT WITH FLEXIBILITY TO WORK OVERTIME AS NEEDED. MUST PARTICIPATE ON AN ONCALL SCHEDULE EVERY 8TH WEEK WITH ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Work on equipment installation maintenance repair and troubleshooting.
Follow established safe procedures and safe work practices.
Have consistent high standards of housekeeping.
Selfdiagnose highly technical CNC machinery problems and complete the repairs.
Must be able to coordinate multiple contractors on major repairs.
Preferred knowledge in (Fadal Haas Mazak Hardinge Okamoto and Chevalier)
Prepare Metrics for maintenance cost and machine downtime.
Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Measure axis alignment and precisely make mechanical and electrical adjustments.
Interface with PLCs to troubleshoot and diagnose Fanuc and Mazatrol machinery.
Work with Robotics and other automation machining cells
May be tasked with preventative maintenance general housekeeping or other duties.
WHAT WE SEEK:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be a selfstarter with welldefined skills that will help support the maintenance group and meet the expectations that are placed on them.
Mechanical aptitude working knowledge of ball screws worm gears transmissions etc.
Electrical aptitude working knowledge of relays timers servos HMIs etc.
Astute attention to detail to help drive Safety and Quality.
Working knowledge of electrical systems up to 480 volts in an industrial environment.
Able to climb stairs and ladders and safely lift 50 lbs.
Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Able to pass preemployment physical.
Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws.
Be exposed to outdoor working conditions and dusty or dirty environments.
Take part in afterhours OnCall responsibilities as part of the maintenance team rotation lasting 7 consecutive days at a teim.
