Then being a Respite Lead Direct Care Professional at Devereux is for YOU! You belong here.

Located in Tucson AZ our Respite Program successfully provides an interval of rest for individuals and their primary caregivers without disruption to their home environments. We provide Respite services to individuals from birth to the age of 17 who are experiencing moderate emotional or behavioral difficulties. Through the Respite program kids get to enjoy group activities and go on field trips to museums roller skating movies arcades park visits and more! And we operate out of residential houses creating a fun and safe homelike environment for those in our care.

The Lead Direct Care Professioanl (Lead DCP) protects the health and safety of individuals while assisting the Program Coordinators with the supervising planning and implementation of program activities while managing childrens behaviors. Lead DCPs serve as a mentor and have fun with kids doing various yearround activities! The Lead DCP will assist with planning implementating and documentating activities designed to meet the social emotional physical and personal needs of individuals in the Respite Program. This position also serves as a role model mentor leader and/or trainer to the Direct Care Professional staff.

Pay Range: $18 $19.80 / hr

Part Time Weekend Schedule: 12hour shifts; must be available every Saturday and a minimum of two 2 Sundays per month
