About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pastoral Care Worker to join our team on a casual basis. This role provides spiritual and emotional support to patients families and staff respecting diverse values beliefs and traditions. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care is delivered.
Your main duties will include:
Provide personcentred spiritual and emotional support to patients and families
Respond to referrals and identify needs for ongoing pastoral care
Document care provided and participate in relevant team meetings
About you
Qualification in Pastoral Care Spiritual Care or Theology (minimum CPE Unit required; multiple units preferred)
Membership or eligibility for membership with Spiritual Care Australia
Experience in a hospital or palliative care setting highly regarded
Excellent interpersonal and reflective listening skills
Commitment to the mission vision and values of Calvary Health Care
