Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Provide charge nurse duties (assigning patients to the nursing team overseeing patient care delivered by the nursing team providing training and direction to the nursing team on the shift)
- Assist with patient care and management of the nursing care provided on the shift
- Oversee LPNS provide precepting to new hires ensuring smooth operations of the shift
- Participate in code teams
- Collaborating with Physicians and various disciplines within the hospital in order to manage patient care
- Assisting the medical staff with inhouse procedures
- Interacting and communicating with patient family members
Requirements:
- Active RN license (GA)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of critical care/ICU and hospital experience
- 1 year Charge RN experience preferred
- Ability to assess patients quickly in emergency situations in stressful environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior analytical and critical thinking skills
- Team detail and goaloriented
- Positive professional and empathetic demeanor
Shifts Available:
- Night shift: 7 pm 7:30 am shift differentials!
