Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Environmental Science or related field.

  • NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent internationally recognized HSE certification) is mandatory.

  • HSE experience in the construction sector within the oil and gas industry.

  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and best practices.

  • Demonstrated experience in PTW systems hazard identification and risk management.

  • Effective leadership communication and reporting skills.

  • Must be willing to work on a rotational/sitebased schedule in remote locations.

Were bridging two worlds moving towards more sustainable energy sources while helping to provide the energy chemicals and resources needed now.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor the HSE management system (HSEMS) onsite.

  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE policies procedures and standards.

  • Participate in and lead toolbox talks risk assessments and safety meetings.

  • Support the development of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) Permit to Work (PTW) and other sitespecific HSE documents.

  • Investigate incidents nearmisses and unsafe conditions; recommend corrective/preventive actions.

  • Maintain records and documentation such as safety reports inspection checklists and audit findings.

  • Liaise with subcontractors and ensure alignment with the projects HSE expectations.

  • Conduct induction and refresher HSE training for all site personnel.

  • Promote a positive safety culture and ensure workforce engagement in HSE programs.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental protection requirements and waste management procedures.
