Job Title/High Level Position Summary: Receiving Inspector
Performs a multitude of Dimensional Inspection on various hand tools Comparators and or Keyence Vision Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI)
- Perform dimensional inspection of subassemblies or final assemblies.
- Perform quality control/release testing on products and incoming quality inspections.
- Dimensional & visual inspection to drawingsusing gauges and other reliant inspection equipment
- Perform inspection in accordance with the FDA ISO and other applicable regulations.
- Identify document and segregate nonconforming material.
- Maintain compliance in a highly regulated environment for medical devices following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Able to communicate findings effectively in oral and written form with the aim of improving processes.
- Work as part of a team contributing ideas to improve processes
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with team members from areas including but not limited to Manufacturing Procurement Distribution Engineering Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
- Meet schedule and overtime requirements as needed.
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required associate or bachelors degree a plus.
- 5 years of relevant experience required experience with quality dimensional inspection.
- Strong visual acuity and attention to detail required.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time required.
- Perform other functions as needed including 5S Cal Lab help and listening to instructions.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30lbs regularly required.
