General Manager Property
Role Overview:
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and profitability of the property while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The role demands strong leadership strategic planning and operational excellence to drive business growth maintain brand standards and foster a highperformance team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee and manage all property operations as per the organizational structure.
- Ensure full compliance with hotel SOPs policies procedures and service standards.
- Lead all key property matters including improvements upgradation projects and refurbishment.
- Conduct regular briefings and meetings with department heads and team members.
- Guest Experience & Service Quality:
- Ensure exceptional guest service maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Handle complaints and oversee service recovery procedures effectively.
- Implement strategies to continuously improve guest experience and ratings.
- Financial & Revenue Management:
- Prepare present and achieve the propertys annual and monthly operating budget.
- Monitor financial performance ensuring revenue targets and profitability goals are met.
- Analyze P&L statements and implement impactful costsaving and revenuemaximization strategies.
- Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and maximize room yield.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Drive innovative sales initiatives to increase occupancy and revenue.
- Develop and execute strategies to expand market share and enhance brand positioning.
- People Management & Leadership:
- Act as a key decisionmaker in hiring and retaining top talent for the property.
- Manage and develop the hotels executive team ensuring career progression and professional growth.
- Lead by example fostering a culture of accountability teamwork and excellence.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to health safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Uphold brand and service standards across all departments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry preferably in upscale/luxury properties.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations financial management and guest service excellence.
- Exceptional leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to drive business performance while maintaining brand integrity and guest satisfaction.
- Handson experience in revenue management sales strategies and cost control.
