Job Description

ACCEPT Education Collaborative is a regional nonprofit educational organization located in Natick MA. ACCEPT provides a wide range of programs and services including special education for students with moderate to severe needs specialized transportation homebased services behavioral and educational consultation and professional development. Our programs address autism spectrum disorders emotional/behavioral needs global impairments cognitive/intellectual disabilities language disorders ADHD/ADD and nonverbal learning disabilities. We are looking for HomeBased Supervisors to provide consultation & training to parents in the skills necessary to maximize social behavioral and educational functioning of their children at home and in the community. This position also provides supervision to direct therapists. This is a parttime position. This is NOT a remote LocationsNeedham WellesleySudburyMarlboroughJOB DUTIES:Provide supervision to direct therapists and consultation to parents regarding a students educational behavioral and social services for children aged 3 22 in the to and collaborate with the Homebased Services CoordinatorDesign programming and interventions incorporating as much research design as possible to be captured in a Parent Contract with appropriate and measurable homebased goalsImplement and train others to implement behavior change procedures (e.g. discrete trials Incidental teaching differential reinforcement shaping task analyses antecedent and consequent controls self management etc.)Model techniques and strategies for the parentsCreate data collections systems based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis so as to effectively summarize data for services being implementedMonitor progress and make modifications as any needed changes in programming and document recommendations on each home visitMaintain accurate clinical session notes for activities performed during onsite sessionWrite progress reports as per the schedule indicated in the Parent ContractParticipate in professional development opportunities throughout the yearHave access to email and forward all/respond to email communications with the HomeBased Services Coordinator and parents in a timely fashionConsult and follow up with staff and parents on behavioral and programing mattersCollaborate with students team members (school personnel other home providers) as neededSuch other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the supervisorCommunicate with families and direct therapists on Covid10 protocols and procedures and report nonadherence of protocols to the HomeServices Coordinator. QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of a Masters degree or currently enrolled in a Masters degree (undergoing supervision) from an accredited college or universityPreferred current certification by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BCBA) or licensed Applied behavior Analyst (LABA) or be in the process of doing fieldwork towards a BCBA/LABA. Individuals pursuing their BCBA are under the weekly supervision of a licensed LABA/BCBAThe HomeBased Supervisor position is part time and held in the afterschool hours. Supervision from a BCBA for those currently working towards certification MAY be Education Collaborative is an EEO employer M/F/Vets/Disabled
