Job Description
Shodair is expanding our Allied Therapy department by adding a Music Therapist!
As a Music Therapist you will plan organize and direct medically approved music therapy programming for children and adolescents at Shodair.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- The music therapist will provide music therapy using various elements to meet the needs of patients and to assist them in meeting their treatment goals.
- The music therapist should be skilled in the use of musical modalities to complement therapy programs.
- This position is part of a larger Allied Therapy department which requires all staff to be trained in facilitation on the ropes course and as a shallow water lifeguard.
- The music therapist will provide both group and individual sessions with Shodairs patients.

EDUCATION TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
Bachelors degree in music therapy and be board certified with The Certification Board for Music Therapists.
