Demonstrates ability to appropriately modify approach and procedures to meet needs of age/diversity of population served for the following age groups:Neonate (birth 28 days)Infant 29 days less than 1 year)Pediatric/Child 1 year 12 years)Adolescent 12 years 18 years)Adult 18 years 65 years)Geriatric (over 65 years)Incorporates cultural considerations in the provisions of of growth and developmental life changes/effects on health beliefs and necessary safety information and involves family/caregiver in decision making.2. Performs all responsibilities/duties required by Faith Regional Physician Services as defined in the scope of practice to assure that the unique nature of the patient is addressed. This includes but is not limited to the age of the patient accuracy competency and thoroughness in history taking assessment and evaluation of the patients age specific needs (with appropriate differential diagnosis).Appropriately initiates medication lab and xray interpret lab and xray with ER physician on evaluation assessment and treatment plan for all patients both Select care and ER appropriate technical aspects of patient care and expertise in technical (such as suturing splinting.)Initiate the discharge plan as appropriate and provide continuity of care to meet the patients changing needs and achieve the and assigns appropriate patient Protection: Identifies high risk dependent relationship and actions to prevent further infliction of physical or emotional harmProvides lifesaving measures in life threatening priorities of patient care for urgent treatmentComprehensive assessment of the patients clinical condition with attention focused on the reasons for determinations (Laboratory Radiological and other tests) to define the optimal treatment treatment and clinical for appropriate subspecialty medications and other therapeutic and family education and support (including family meetings as required.)Determination for readiness and subsequent planning for discharge from the hospital (working closely with case management and utilization review.)Update the patient handoff form (for those patients managed by you on a given day) in order to clearly communicate the patients current clinical status plans for care and items to be addressed by the next hospitalist on monthly hospital medicine staff meetings and participate in specified hospital committee leadership qualities (characteristics include a strong selfimage vision of the future a firm belief in the organization ability to influence others positively).Works to maintain positive team relationships with coworkers physicians and other members of the healthcare the ability to problem solve and offer the implementation of change the collegial environment of the unit in a positive manner.3.
