Department: Logistics Freight Income Product Team
Contract: 6 months (with strong possibility of extension)
Pay Rate:$62.85 $73.33 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9:00 AM 5:00 PM CST
About the Project:
Join the transformational LFRM 2.0 Project a critical modernization initiative to revolutionize how freight rates are calculated managed and validated. Were replacing outdated manual processes with scalable automated solutions built on cuttingedge infrastructure and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain backend services and APIs for LFRM 2.0.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers product managers and crossfunctional teams.
- Create and manage database schemas queries and optimizations.
- Develop and support AWS infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
- Integrate and configure New Relic for monitoring and logging.
- Write clean maintainable code.
- Conduct code reviews participate in testing and debugging and ensure highquality software delivery.
- Document system architecture technical specs and deployment procedures.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 years in backend development with strong emphasis on database development.
- Proficiency in Java and Python frameworks.
- Expertise with MySQL (schema design query optimization).
- Solid experience with AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS Lambda).
- Familiarity with New Relic for APM and logging.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work independently in a fastpaced Agile environment.
- Experience with large data volumes and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in logistics transportation or freight rate management.
- Handson experience with or Cloudbees for feature flag setup.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Systems thinking mindset with a knack for simplifying complex logic.
