THE POSITION
The Department of Transportation Engineering District 60 is on the lookout for a seasoned Civil Engineer to take on the role of Senior Civil Engineer Supervisor specializing in Bridges. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role you will assist the Assistant District Bridge Engineer responsible for overseeing inspections by fostering an environment conducive to the implementation of a robust and efficient bridge inspection program. Your responsibilities will encompass the supervision of internal staff as well as the management of consultant inspection contracts ensuring that all activities align with the compliance standards established by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the National Bridge Inspection Standards. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problemsolving as you will be tasked with not only meeting but exceeding the compliance metrics thereby enhancing the overall safety and integrity of bridge structures within the district. Your leadership will be crucial in coordinating efforts among various stakeholders ensuring that inspections are conducted thoroughly and that any identified issues are addressed promptly and effectively.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday Friday with 30minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) parttime up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework you must have a securely configured highspeed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- Six years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an EngineerinTraining certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers Land Surveyors and Geologists; or
- Two years of professional civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty and a bachelors degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline;or
- Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty; and an EngineerinTraining certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers Land Surveyors and Geologists; and an associates degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of a valid Drivers License.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirementis currently waivedfor this title.
