HighLevel Position Summary:
As a Metal Finisher at ENOVIS Foot & Ankle youll perform various activities to manufacture a variety of small orthopedic products. These activities include but are not limited to deburring assembly laser marking cleaning / passivation tool crib maintenance product inspection on the manufacturing floor and participation in improvement related activities.
Key Responsibilities: The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.
Responsible for inhouse cleaning passivation and anodization of manufactured products
Maintains cleaning passivation and anodization equipment maintenance and repair logs
Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to specification using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers height gauges and gauge blocks
Documents inspection results by completing applicable inspection reports and logs
Participate in quality control/assurance related activities
Perform equipment maintenance activities as required
Responsible for deburring metal parts by means of hand finishing equipment assisted deburring polishing etc.
Responsible for laser marking devices to drawing specifications

Minimum Basic Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.
HS Diploma or equivalent
Mechanically inclined
Work environment Physical demands:
Climate controlled workspace
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Frequent to constantuseoftheir hands and fingers to handle or feeland to manipulatein a variety of different body positions or postures
Frequent to constant holding grabbing grasping pinching turning or otherwise working with hands and fingers ranging from dexterous to forceful in nature
Frequent to constant lifting or exertion of force of up to 35 lbsoccasionally up to 50 lbs
The employee isconstantly or frequently required to stand walk reach with arms and handsfrequently to climb or balance and to stoop kneel crouch or crawl
Vision abilities required by this job include close vision ability to judgedimensionsand spatial relationships
Desired Characteristics:
2 years experience in deburring
Worked in a manufacturing environment
Willing to learn
