Job Description
ReGroup is looking for a highly organised and experienced Payroll Supervisor to manage and oversee all aspects of payroll processing on a perm parttime basis. In this handson role youll be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery maintaining compliance with applicable laws and serving as the primary payroll expert within the organisation. Please note this role does not have any direct reports.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee and manage endtoend payroll processing ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with relevant legislation
- Interpret and apply Industrial Awards enterprise agreements and internal policies related to payroll including taxation workers compensation and long service leave
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on payrollrelated queries and issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure full compliance with statutory obligations including tax reporting superannuation workers compensation and payroll tax requirements
- Manage leave processing accruals and reporting within the payroll system
About you
- Demonstrated experience in a payroll supervisory role managing endtoend payroll for a mediumtolarge workforce 300 employees preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Agreements relevant tax legislation workers compensation and long service leave provisions
- Experience managing leave administration payroll compliance and statutory reporting
- Proficiency in payroll system administration and configuration; experience with ELMO Payroll is highly regarded
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment

- Roughly 56 hours per day. Flexible on times however days in the office are nonnegotiable
