Kindering is dedicated to maintaining a highly trained licensed and certified team of professionals. Current services include comprehensive developmental assessments; physical occupational speech language and infant mental health therapy; special education; family counseling; nutrition and feeding therapy; childcare consultation; parenting education; and family resource coordination.

Purpose
This PRN role provides pediatric physical or occupational therapy services as part of Kinderings interdisciplinary Motor Team (OTs PTs SLPs special educators IMH specialists and others). Therapists in this role support children with neurodevelopmental differences and their caregivers through direct services collaboration and education.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for children birth to 3 with neurodevelopmental differences.
Deliver therapy services in home center or communitybased settings.
Educate and support caregivers in implementing therapy strategies.
Participate in interdisciplinary care coordination team meetings and transition planning.
Complete required documentation including evaluations progress reports and case notes.
Refer families to appropriate Kindering and communitybased resources.
Support Medicaid programs through thorough documentation planning and interagency collaboration.
Assist in supervision of student therapists as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Washington State licensure (or eligibility) in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
Pediatric experience particularly in early intervention or neurodevelopmental settings.
Passion for inclusive familycentered care.
Flexibility and comfort working in diverse environments (home center community).
Strong collaboration communication and documentation skills.
Schedule
This is an asneeded PRN role with scheduling based on team and family needs. Opportunities may vary by campus and program.

Required Education & Experience
Washington State licensure (or eligibility) in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
Pediatric experience strongly preferred particularly in early intervention or neurodevelopmental settings
Additional language proficiency preferred especially in Spanish
Experience or training in neurodevelopmental treatment techniques preferred
Infant feeding experience highly preferred
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Strong interpersonal skills collaboration and reliability
Competency in basic computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
Minimum Prerequisites
Possess or be in the process of obtaining a valid Washington State DOH OT or PT license
Pass Washington State DSHS criminal history and background check and FBI fingerprint check
Maintain valid unexpired proof of identity throughout employment
Pass tuberculosis (TB) test
Provide proof of current immunizations including COVID19 and MMR vaccine or a titer test
Note: Kindering requires all employees to be vaccinated against COVID19 and MMR or receive an approved medical or sincerely held religious exemption
