We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PreSchool Teachers Aide to join our Blue Ridge Elementary School team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom environment fostering young childrens learning and development. As a PreSchool Teachers Aide you will assistthe Teacherin the daily operations of the classroom helping to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages curiosity and exploration among preschoolaged children. This position requires a commitment to the wellbeing of our students and an understanding of early childhood education principles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with young children. Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Support children in their social and emotional development and manage classroom behavior effectively.
- Provide oneonone support for children with specific needs under the guidance of the lead teacher.
- Supervise children during classroom activities playtime and transitions to ensure their safety.
- Encourage childrens participation in handson learning experiences and activities.
- Prepare classroom materials and supplies as directed by the teacher.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding childrens progress and activities when appropriate.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschoolaged children in an educational setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and learning principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience compassion and a genuine love for children.
