Job Description
Maintenance Technician with Trade Experience. Perform general maintenance and repairs for facilities including plumbing electrical basic carpentry heating and cooling grounds maintenance and other building systems. Reports to the maintenance supervisor.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Repair various fixtures and hardware such as doors windows minor appliances office equipment etc. Report to the maintenance supervisor.
- Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep the campus in functioning and serviceable condition.
- Completes daily weekly or monthly checklists or prescheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
- Reports on any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
- Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools
- Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments
- Adheres to Lipscombs safety policies and procedures
- Maintains a friendly efficient positive customer service demeanor toward all employees students and coworkers
Experience:
- 3 years of experience
