Archer Western Constructionis currently seeking anIronworker Structuralfor the Wasena Bridge Replacement inRoanoke VA.

The Ironworker Structural raises places installs and erects all structural steel beams columns and joints to form completed structures and structural frameworks; places and secures rebar in concrete.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Sets and installs structural steel girders beams columns and other objects to complete forms for buildings towers bridges and other structures.
• Performs all work related to signaling rigging bolting and/or welding of structural steel.
• Completes tasks related to the loading and unloading of steel rebar at the site of work.
• Should be able to climb ladders.
• Must adhere to safety protocol and work in a drugfree environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 35 years of verifiable experience in working with structural steel/rebar
• Adequate knowledge of lengths and construction measurements for use of tools and machinery
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing bending kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

Las responsabilidades incluyen pero no se limitan a:

• Coloca e instala vigas vigas columnas y otros objetos de acero estructural para completar formas para edificios torres puentes y otras estructuras.
• Realiza todos los trabajos relacionados con sealizacin aparejo atornillado y/o soldadura de acero estructural.
• Realiza tareas relacionadas con la carga y descarga de varillas de acero en el lugar de trabajo.
• Debera poder subir escaleras.
• Debe adherirse al protocolo de seguridad y trabajar en un entorno libre de drogas.

CALIFICACIONES

• 35 aos de experiencia verificable trabajando con acero estructural/varillas de refuerzo
• Conocimiento adecuado de longitudes y medidas de construccin para el uso de herramientas y maquinaria.
• Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede ser requerido para trabajar en varias condiciones climticas
• Requiere la capacidad de cumplir con todas las polticas y procedimientos de seguridad
• Poseer una fuerte tica de trabajo y ganas de aprender
• Debe poder pasar una prueda de consumo de drogas previa al empleo
