TheCatholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese (the CISVA) operates 46 schools 40 elementary and6 high schools. ABOUT
Corpus Christi Elementary School is a fun and joyful faith community centered on Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. We integrate our shared Catholic faith in our daily lives through the celebration of the Mass prayer and liturgical celebrations. Together with the support of parents and our parish community our educators and support staff are committed to providing a Catholic learning environment where children may grow as unique individuals and develop spiritually physically intellectually and socially to become caring members of society. JOB DESCRIPTION
Corpus Christi School is a Catholic elementary school located in Vancouver B.C. This oneyear Kindergarten teaching position will be offered from September 2025 to June 2026. There is the possibility that this shortterm position may be extended into theschool year.
Interested applicants must have a strong commitment to the Catholic faith and demonstrate competency with the kindergarten curriculum i.e. inquirybased learning and interactive technology and be willing to work in a team atmosphere. Applicants must have at least 8 years of teaching experience with early literacy and numeracy skills as well as various intervention strategies and processes. The successful candidate will assist with extracurricular programs and activities.

On an ongoing basis we accept teacher applications for grade levels K to 12 for our Catholic schools throughout the Greater Vancouver Area and Powell River in beautiful British Columbia. All Catholics nonCatholics new education grads and experienced teachers from across Canada are strongly encouraged to apply.
