Student Cloud Engineer Fall 2025

Job Description:

Term Length: 4months (September December 2025

What will you do

• Develop maintain and update documentation relating to procedures and troubleshooting guides

• Provide client support and address inquiries issues and requests in a timely and professional manner

• Utilize skills to automate tasks creating reports and improve efficiency

• Provide regular updates on work progress including status reports project milestones and upcoming tasks

• Actively participate in team discussions brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas share insights and collaborate on solutions

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams translate to technical specifications

• Evaluate and implement Security guardrails

• Assist in the design implementation of AWS Cloud Solutions.

• Monitor infrastructure and optimize and secure resources.

• Design and develop scripts and automation.

• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support clients and services.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Cloud related issues.

• Stay uptodate with AWS best practices new Services and industry trend.

What do you need to succeed

• Currently enrolled in University degree/College diploma in a computerrelated degree program such as Computer Science Engineering Information Technology with a December 2025 or later graduation date.

• Proficiency in programming and scripting.

• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC).

• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.

• Prior experience with cloud computing technologies is a plus.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.

Eligible Sun Life employees for various Campus Graduate programs will also participate in various incentive plans payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance
