Job Description

Director of Bids & Proposals (Remote Government & Commercial Healthcare Contracts)

Location: Remote with preference for Central or Eastern time zones

About the Role:

We are supporting a missiondriven healthcare organization thatis seeking a Director of Bids & Proposals to lead its government and commercial proposal efforts. This fully remote role offers the chance to build a highimpact proposal function from the ground up focused on winning contracts that improve healthcare quality compliance and access across the country.

The organization partners with Medicare/Medicaidfunded facilities and state/federal agencies and also supports commercial clients in improving care delivery and regulatory performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the endtoend proposal process for both government (federal/state) and commercial contracts
  • Build out scalable proposal templates processes and content libraries
  • Drive proposal strategy coordinate with internal stakeholders and ensure highquality compliant submissions
  • Collaborate with finance to support pricing strategy especially on federal bids
  • Partner with Marcom to enhance the visual and narrative quality of proposals
  • Lead preparations for highpriority RFPs including upcoming state EQRO opportunities
  • Support the organizations GSA Schedule readiness and longterm contract strategy
  • Participate in occasional preplanned travel (e.g. client meetings or industry events)

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing complex proposals in healthcare across both government and commercial sectors
  • Expertise in CMS Medicaid/Medicare contracts or EQRO/QIOrelated work preferred
  • Strong writing editing and strategic planning skills able to lead the process end to end
  • Assertive and highly organized able to manage stakeholders meet deadlines and drive accountability
  • Familiarity with the GSA Schedule and federal procurement landscape is a plus
