Compensation:$41.02 per hour
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a rewarding and flexible temporary role We are seeking a compassionate and detailoriented Residential Nurse Case Manager to join our team for a23monthassignmentstarting in June 2024. This is a unique opportunity to provide crucial oversight andhands onsupportas we begin to prepare for ourDepartment ofDevelopmental Servicesperiod making a meaningful impact on the lives ofthe individuals we support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training:
- Conduct necessary training sessions for residential staffon all healthrelated protocolsto ensure proper careand quality standards and best practice.
- Client Health Oversight:
- Ensure allmedicalprotocolsare updatedsignedanduploaded toour electronic health record system.
- Liaison between the Health Care Providers individuals and program staff.
- Conduct weekly physical assessments for assignedindividualsand provide updates on each visit.
- Medication Oversight:
- Ensure medicationordersareonthe correct formand signed by the prescriber.
- Verify all medication orders are accuratelyreflectedon the Medication Administration Record (MAR).
- Confirm that all PRN medications have clear parameters and that medical protocols are current and followed.
- Check theControlCount Book for accuracy and proper completion.
- Identifyand report any medication errors to the administrative team promptly.
- Audit and Compliance:
- Audithealth and medication recordsto ensure allinitialand followup appointments are completed as recommended by healthcare providers.
- Maintain compliance with all health protocols and documentation standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license inMassachusetts.
- Experience in residential or case management nursing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiencywith electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Familiarity with the Medication Administration Program (MAP) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
