About the Role
You will be responsible for the administrative duties and providing administrative support in the Preadmission Clinic (PAC) to our patients nursing allied health and medical staff.
Ensuring patients are checked in and checked out appropriately from PAC across multiple modalities including telehealth phone and F2F appointments
Management of opening PAC clinic appointments through the Patient Administration System (PAS)
Classifications for this position will be HS1 HS17 $58442 $64610 per annum pro rata) over award
Your Contribution
Relevant experience in administration in a healthcare role
Experience with patient administration systems (PAS)
Working knowledge of Microsoft office including Outlook Word and Excel
Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain

About Planned Surgery and Preadmission Clinic
The Planned Surgery Management Team (PSMT) coordinates and case manages patients that are on the St Vincents Hospital planned surgery waiting list in accordance with the planned surgery waiting list policy and the Department of Health Planned Surgery Access Policy. The PSMT is responsible for the case management all patients across the surgical specialties at SVHM.
The Preadmission Clinic comprises of nursing medical and allied health professionals and is designed to optimise the patients medical status in preparation for their planned surgery.
