Summary of Duties:
A postdoctoral fellow position is available in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Washington State University Spokane with Dr. Boyang (Jason) Wu. The research will focus on molecular/cellular and preclinical studies on 1 elucidating the roles mechanisms and targeting potential of novel genes that mediate therapy resistance in prostate cancer and 2 characterizing the tumor microenvironment and immune modulation of prostate cancer to develop combination therapies with enhanced immunotherapy efficacy.

Candidates should have an earned Ph.D. degree in Cancer Biology Molecular Biology Cell Biology Immunology Pharmacology/Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field with a proven track record of creativity and productivity.
Candidates are expected to be selfmotivated and have strong oral/written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with prostate cancer epigenetics bioinformatics data mining and cancer xenograft mouse models is highly desired.
Annual Salary: $57958.00$62139.00 Commensurate with experience
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
