Job Description

Reston Hospital Center is seeking cardiothoracic surgeons to support Northern Virginias newest cardiothoracic surgery program just outside of Washington D.C. in the fastgrowing and highly desirable community of Reston VA. Qualified Candidates:Board certified or board eligibleMinimum of 5 years of experience required; exceptional candidates with less experience will be consideredSuperb communication skills and a passion for program development and collaborationExperience and comfort level with heart bypass surgery valve repair and replacement (including TAVR and mitral)Experience in open and endovascular aortic proceduresKnowledge and experience with advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular proceduresCapable of doing complex cases in independent settingVirginia licensure or ability to obtainIncentive/Benefits Package:Hospital employment offering competitive compensation and full benefits package401K with company contributionCME allowance and days offHealth/life/dental insurancePaid malpractice
