Global Security Operations Center Officer (GSOC) Paid Weekly!
Location: Madison WI
Rate: $27.00/hour
Hours: Tuesday Saturday 11pm 7am
The Security Operations Center Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by providing centrally managed law enforcement radio monitoring with event logging and recording alarm monitoring of intrusion detection systems and emergency dispatch incident reporting and analysis and remote alarm panel programming. Our SOC Operator positions are highly sought after. If you have experience in roles like Call Center Representative Dispatch or Camera Monitoring this is a great fit for you; if not this is an exciting introduction to a career in the security industry.
Job Duties:
- Completing Logs as needed (Visitor Temporary badge or Key)
- Issuing keys to contractors
- Responding to security alarms medical emergencies and critical events
- Conducting periodic patrols of the facility
- Assisting with evacuations
- Creating / modifying/ issuing ID badges access cards or visitor badges
- Providing escorts for facility personnel
- Writing reports (incident shift activity)
- Performing reception duties
- Enforcing the prohibition of solicitations or distribution /posting of unauthorized materials
- Keeping work area secure clean and organized at all times
- Maintaining the confidentiality of the work
- Accessing camera systems

Position Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
- Must have great customer service skills
- Must be able to work in a fast pace call center/emergency center type environment
- Must have strong computer skills and be comfortable on the phone and radio
- Must be able to multitask in high pressure situations
- Please provide an up to date resume upon applying
- Physically capably of carrying a maximum of 10 pounds and ascending/ descending 3 stories via stairway in one continuous effort and traversing a maximum distance of 1000 feet in less than 5 minutes.
