As an Android or iOS Software Development Engineer within the Flex Mobile Foundations organization you will contribute to the next generation mobile foundation to power fast fluid and interactive experiences on mobile devices worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
As a key member of the Last Mile Mobile Platform team you will be an innovator playing a direct role in shaping and building products that partner teams rely on and customers love on top of Amazons technology. You will be part of a strong team in a fastpaced startup like environment where agile development is embraced innovation is encouraged largescale projects are the norm and worklife balance is a top priority. We aim to work smarter not harder and regularly iterate to maintain and improve worklife balance. As an SDEIII at Amazon you will have the opportunity to positively impact millions of customers by identifying opportunities designing solutions collaborating with worldclass engineers and delivering large impactful endtoend projects and improvements.
5 years of noninternship professional software development experience
5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
Tech depth and breath on Android or iOS development.
5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
