Description
If you are a Welder looking for an opportunity to grow and develop professionally Emerson Discrete Automation has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Brenham TX you will perform welding tasks in the manufacture of Rosemount products to conform with specifications and certification requirements.
Typical working schedule Friday Saturday & Sunday 6:00 to 6:30pm)
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Welds production and less difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts in various materials including stainless steel precious and semiprecious metals using various types of welding processes which may include TIG and/or MIG.
  • May operate program welding machine to weld production units and also assist machine welding operator in program welding higher volume production units when work load requires it.
  • Welds must pass destructive and nondestructive testing based on certification requirements per individual product.
  • Must maintain individual welding qualification and certification per product requirements.
  • Sets up fixtures and lays out work for production and prototype piece parts. 6. Performs work of a miscellaneous nature as required

For This Role You Will Need:
  • High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
  • A minimum of 3 years of welding experience OR B) Verified completion of a Welding certificate program and a minimum one 1 year of welding experience
  • Must obtain and maintain applicable company welding certifications.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Related manufacturing welding experience
