Job Description
A creative and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher with a focus on Electronics is required to join an Outstanding mixed school in Haringey for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 1116 to develop their understanding of electronic principles and their application in design and technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Design & Technology Teacher lessons focusing on Electronics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop students skills in electronic theory circuit design and practical construction.
- Foster a stimulating and innovative learning environment that encourages problemsolving and creativity in electronics.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Design & Technology (Electronics) providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design & Technology or a related field with strong electronics knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Design & Technology Teacher lessons with a focus on Electronics at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong understanding of electronic principles components and circuit design.
- Excellent communication and practical skills capable of inspiring students interest in electronics.
