Job Description
A passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher specialising in Spanish is sought by a wellregarded Independent mixed school in Islington for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 1116 to develop a love for the Spanish language and culture fostering their communication skills and global awareness.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Languages Teacher lessons in Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop students skills in speaking listening reading and writing in Spanish.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Spanish providing effective feedback to support their language acquisition.
- Contribute to the promotion of Spanish language and culture within the school through extracurricular activities and cultural events.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Spanish.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages Teacher lessons in Spanish at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Native or nearnative fluency in Spanish and a strong understanding of Spanishspeaking cultures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of motivating students to learn a foreign language and appreciate cultural diversity.
