Job Description
A passionate and fluent Modern Foreign Languages Teacher specialising in French is required to join an Outstanding school in Brent for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 1116 to develop a love for the French language and culture fostering their communication skills and global awareness.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Languages Teacher lessons in French across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Develop students skills in speaking listening reading and writing in French.
- Assess and monitor student progress in French providing effective feedback to support their language acquisition.
- Contribute to the promotion of French language and culture within the school through extracurricular activities and cultural events.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in French.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages Teacher lessons in French at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Native or nearnative fluency in French and a strong understanding of Frenchspeaking cultures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills capable of motivating students to learn a foreign language and appreciate cultural diversity.
