Job Description
An enthusiastic Physics Teacher is required to join an Outstanding school in Islington for a permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 1116 with the fundamental principles of physics and their applications in the world around us.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Physics Teacher lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Science examinations with a strong emphasis on physical concepts.
- Foster a stimulating and inquirybased learning environment for scientific exploration and experimentation in physics.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Physics providing clear and constructive feedback to support their understanding.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physics or Science with a strong Physics background.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Physics Teacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- A strong and comprehensive knowledge of physical principles and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills capable of explaining complex physical ideas clearly and engagingly to students.
