Your Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging highquality lessons that support Year 1 students in developing essential skills in literacy numeracy and socialemotional learning
- Personalise learning to cater to the diverse needs of students including differentiated activities and targeted interventions for students requiring additional support
- Track and assess students academic progress regularly providing feedback to students and parents to guide future learning
- Foster a safe engaging environment where students feel encouraged to take risks and develop their selfconfidence
- Actively contribute to the wholeschool community through extracurricular activities and participation in schoolwide events
- Support students in their transition from Reception to Year 1 ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all
What Were Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and previous teaching experience in Key Stage 1
- A passion for early childhood education and creating opportunities for handson creative learning
- Strong understanding of phonics early literacy and numeracy strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to building positive relationships with students staff and parents
- An ability to create an environment where all children can thrive academically socially and emotionally
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and a drive to improve your teaching practice
