Position: Design Manager/Engineer
Reporting to: Chief Designer
Location: Bangalore
Experience required: 710 years of experience in Design & Development of aircraft systems/LRUs
Overview:
The role focuses on defining specifications and leading the complete design and development lifecycle of aerospace products from conceptualization detailed design and testing to certification and product support
SKILLS & QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Aerospace Mechatronics). A masters degree in Machine design will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Stress analysis Finite Element Analysis CAD software 3D modelling)
- Analytical ability Mathematical modelling Verification & Validation
- Exposure to Preliminary Design Review Critical Design Review Airworthiness approval
- Experience in Hydraulic Systems Pneumatic Systems ElectroHydraulic Systems Servo controlled systems
- Experience in coordination with CEMILAC DGAQA DGCA
Roles & Responsibility
- Defining Specification of the aerospace products Understanding Customer System/ Technical Specifications Requirements.
- Conceptual Design and defining Acceptance Test Schedule Type Test Schedule Environmental Test Schedule Long Life (Endurance & Fatigue) testing.
- Preliminary Design (PDR) Critical Design Review (CDR) requirements Design Failure Mode Effect & Criticality Analysis (DFMECA) and Reliability Requirements.
- Impulse and Fatigue Analysis & Defining Test Rig requirements & testing.
- Detail Design of the products and components Build Schedule defining critical parameters Including Aerospace Material Selection heat treatment & process/ Protective treatments.
- Defect Analysis Failure Reporting Analysis & Corrective Actions (FRACA)
- Configuration Management
- Detail Design Review and coordination with Customers and approval Agencies like CEMILAC DGAQA DGCA
- Prototype Building and proving of the product Type Approval of the product for Airworthiness
- Product Support in the form of generation of Repair & Overhaul Manuals.
- Market research of the new product technical requirements
