Managing Attorney
Career Consulting Partners has partnered with a nationally recognized firm in the probate trust and estate space. We seek a seasoned Managing Attorney or an experienced 4 6 year probate litigator ready to step into a leadership role at our office in West Los Angeles California. This is a careerdefining opportunity for an experienced attorney who thrives in a leadership capacity and is ready to take ownership of a growing caseload mentor junior attorneys and oversee office operations. The ideal candidate has 5 years of experience in California probate trust and estate litigation and is looking to join a collaborative highperforming team with builtin marketing and business development support.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage probate trust and estate litigation matters including will contests trust disputes fiduciary litigation and related conflicts.
- Lead and mentor associate attorneys and legal staff within the Walnut Creek office.
- Develop litigation strategies and oversee case progression from intake through trial or settlement.
- Act as lead counsel in hearings mediations and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and client relationship development.
- Maintain highlevel client service and ensure communication and outcomes align with client expectations.
- Participate in marketing efforts with dedicated inhouse support.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
- 4 6 years of experience in probate trust and estate litigation.
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring attorneys preferred.
- Strong understanding of California probate law trust administration and estate planning.
- Exceptional litigation case management and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships and lead a legal team.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary $180000 $250000
- Plus a yearly bonus based on the firms performance and employee performance.
