This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate telephone information and referral services for clients.
- Provide accurate legal and community service referrals.
- Organise and book client appointments using online booking systems.
- Maintain client databases and manage confidential client files.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and other service providers.
- Implement and support responsive accessible service delivery models.
- Respond appropriately to client needs by identifying issues and relevant jurisdictions.
- Perform general administrative and organisational tasks.
Requirements
- Currently studying or have completed a Law degree (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of legal and social issues across a broad range of jurisdictions.
- Strong organisational administrative and communication skills.
- Excellent written and computer skills including word processing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to listen attentively and respond with sensitivity and accuracy.
- Selfmotivated resourceful and effective in time management.
- Previous volunteer experience with community legal services highly regarded.
