Job Description

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate telephone information and referral services for clients.
  • Provide accurate legal and community service referrals.
  • Organise and book client appointments using online booking systems.
  • Maintain client databases and manage confidential client files.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and other service providers.
  • Implement and support responsive accessible service delivery models.
  • Respond appropriately to client needs by identifying issues and relevant jurisdictions.
  • Perform general administrative and organisational tasks.

Requirements

  • Currently studying or have completed a Law degree (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of legal and social issues across a broad range of jurisdictions.
  • Strong organisational administrative and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and computer skills including word processing.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to listen attentively and respond with sensitivity and accuracy.
  • Selfmotivated resourceful and effective in time management.
  • Previous volunteer experience with community legal services highly regarded.
