Job Description

TTS is seeking a competent Project Engineer with gas turbine experience who will leverage their expertise in PLC programming control panel design instrumentation AC and DC systems troubleshooting and testing to support our conversion modification upgrade and service power generation projects throughout the world.

The Project Engineer shall work as part of the TTS Engineering team with emphasis on:

Software development testing startup and commissioning for PLCbased Control Systems

Detailed design of PLCbased Control Systems

Detailed electrical design of AC and DC systems

Creation review and approval of required project deliverables

Factory and Onsite testing and validation of system performance



Requirements

Minimum 35 years Electrical Controls and/or Project Engineering experience

Minimum 35 years working with any of GE Westinghouse Siemens Pratt & Whitney Rolls Royce Solar ABB Mitsubishi gas turbines for power generation and/or oil & gas applications

3 years in an automation environment with direct involvement in software development configuration testing and implementation (required)

Desired Skills & Experience:

Proficiency with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation Siemens GE/Emerson PLC platforms or GE MKV MKVI MKVIe.

Proficiency with RSView Studio FactoryTalk View Cimplicity Wonderware/InTouch or Ignition Human Machine Interface (HMI) platforms

Ability to understand Electrical Schematics Cable Schedules Control Logic Diagrams Piping and Instrument Diagrams and Cause & Effect Diagrams

Electrical design including specification and selection of Electrical and Controls components Low Voltage Power distribution 480 VAC/120 VAC) and process control instrumentation

Creation of connection drawings using AutoCAD 2D Software

Ability to analyze electrical/mechanical systems and manufacturer s data sheets

Proficiency with appropriate tools to conduct electrical testing including digital multimeters process calibrators and function generators

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel Word PowerPoint and Project)

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering degree with Controls/Programming Experience.

Miscellaneous:

Travel:

o Travel to customer sites is required

o Travel is project based (domestic and international) and can vary based on project timelines

o Estimated travel is 3050
