Job Description

Adelphi is seeking experienced Mental Health Counselors to provide services at an Educational Institution in Montgomery County Pennsylvania. The ideal candidates will collaborate with school staff to deliver inperson counseling services at the middle and high school levels ensuring compliance with the districts MultiTiered System of Supports (MTSS) Student Assistance Programs (SAP) and all relevant educational and clinical standards.

Shift schedule: Up to 40 hours per week during standard school hours.

Requirements:
Active Pennsylvania mental health license (LPC LCSW LMFT or certified school counselor with clinical experience).
Master s degree in Counseling Psychology Social Work or related field.
Valid driver s license (if travel between buildings is required).
Minimum of two 2 years of clinical experience preferably in adolescent or schoolbased settings.
Understanding of SAP and MTSS frameworks with experience in traumainformed care.

Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group counseling to middle and high school students referred through SAP or MTSS.
Focus on building coping skills reducing anxiety improving attendance and managing traumarelated behaviors.
Provide inperson mental health support including consultation with families and school personnel.
Attend SAP team meetings and assist in care coordination and service planning.
Facilitate educational mental health workshops and classroom lessons as needed.
Maintain accurate records including session notes service logs and intervention outcomes.
Assist in postvention and crisis response for critical school events (e.g. student loss trauma).
Ensure full compliance with clinical legal and districtlevel documentation and confidentiality standards
