Senior Assembly Technician
Location: Based near Leamington Spa Warwickshire
Salary:
Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week
A leading engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Senior Assembly Technician to join their specialist team working on highperformance gearbox and axle assembly programmes. This role involves assembling complex mechanical and hydraulic systems to defined build plans while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Senior Assembly Technician Responsibilities:
Mechanical assembly and endofline testing of complex gearbox axle and hydraulic systems.
Working to predefined build plans engineering specifications and quality standards.
Supporting the team leader with planning task prioritisation and productivity targets.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and quality investigations.
Assisting in the development of team skills through knowledge sharing and training.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
Strong mechanical assembly background ideally in gearbox or powertrain environments.
Proficient in the use of measurement equipment (e.g. verniers micrometers).
Familiarity with problemsolving tools such as 8D and experience contributing to crossfunctional quality investigations.
Ability to train others to a set standard and support team development.
Good time management and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
High attention to detail with a commitment to quality health and safety procedures.
