Responsibilities

• Design life safety and asset protection systems using AutoCAD and proprietary software
  
• Direct contractors in the proper installation and operation of systems
  
• Survey job sites to ensure proper design and installation
  
• Read review and implement customersupplied project specifications
  
• Attend manufacturer training classes and continued education
  
• Create projectspecific operation and maintenance manuals
  
• Update existing drawings
  
• Assist office staff with engineeringrelated tasks
  
• Assist with system inspection and maintenance as needed
  
• Support system startups and commissioning as needed
  

Qualifications

• Experience in designing fire protection systems (special hazard fire suppression and fire alarm systems)
  
• Bachelors degree (preferred but not required)
  
• NICET Certification (nice to have)
  
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
  

Education Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field preferred
