Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Sefton MBC to assist with the appointment of a My Space Intervention Worker on a 6month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 17.78 22.36 per hour
Responsibilities:
- CoWork closely with Childrens Social Care Social Work Teams to provide effective interventions as part of ETAC Exploitation Team Around the Child Approach delivering planned interventions and approaches to ensure identified risks and needs are reduced for Children and young Person.
- Work proactively and persistently with young people and families using a wide range of methods and approaches underpinned by a Trusted Adult and Reachable moments practice principles.
- Contribute to assessment care planning and reviews ensuring a child centred focus and empowering children young people and their families
- To participate in and assist with the coordination of care planning for children and young people. To ensure care plans are up to date followed and met.
- To produce monitor and review individualised ETAC and risk assessments for children and young people.
Qualifications:
- Related and relevant children and families Youth Qualifications.
Experience:
- Knowledge of Exploitation in all its forms and impact.
- Background in delivering interventions with exploited children.
- Significant experience of youth work and services .
Please note:
- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
