Job Description
We are seeking a Service/Test Technician for a testing systems/equipment manufacturing company located in Acton MA. This role is responsible for setting up conducting and troubleshooting tests on testing equipment with a focus on refrigeration HVAC and electrical systems ensuring equipment quality and performance. This is a DIRECT HIRE position.

Skills
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings schematics and wiring diagrams
- Competent with computers including Google Suites (preferred)
- Knowledge of Lean methodologies (preferred)
- Knowledge of test standards (ASTM IEC ISO MILSTD) (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Start up troubleshoot and perform tests on our standard product line including calibration and operation of refrigeration HVAC and electrical systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with systems making necessary adjustments or repairs
- Perform basic final assembly work
- Ensure products meet quality and performance standards
- Implement and improve procedures
- Gather and document pertinent data on the performance of products and prototypes
- Maintain standards for product testing and inspection as part of the overall quality standard
- Participate in a team environment to develop and design new and existing products
- Implement and participate in Lean and 5S processes and projects
- Work closely with the engineering and quality teams to improve overall product quality.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience with HVAC/R systems refrigeration and electrical systems
- Previous experience in a test or service technician role preferably in a manufacturing or commercial environment (preferred)
